Studio 212 Arts – The Art of Throwing Clay

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to dive right into creating handcrafted, unique and interesting
pottery! Expect to get dirty as we learn how to center and “throw” clay onto a pottery wheel,
creating one to three small pieces of pottery, typically small dishes, bowls or cups.

Once the pieces are shaped, the staff of Studio 212 will fire and glaze them for us. Our
masterpieces will be ready to be picked up 2 – 3 weeks later.

NOTE: Some of the materials used are toxic IF ingested. For this reason, they do not allow
food in the studio. Beverages are acceptable as long as they have a lid and straw.

Open to RBWC members only. Limited to 6-11 participants.
