Gather Chestnuts for Appalachian Bear Rescue Cubs

Join In: Sept. 28 or Oct. 1

Depart Club Parking Lot: 9:30 am

Location: Private chestnut orchard near Kingston TN (55 min drive)

RSVP: By September 21

RBWC members join us for one or both dates! Chestnuts provide a wonderful high calorie hard mast that cubbies love!
The orchard is mowed however it is recommended to wear very comfortable tennis shoes or boots and THICK GARDEN GLOVES ARE A MUST as some chestnuts are still in their prickly outer shell.

Gathering pails will be provided. Plan to gather nuts up to 1.5 hours. Expect to arrive back approximately 1PM. RSVP by September 22.
