SUMMARY:Florals For Fun- The Art of Designing with Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Are you a “Flower Child” or just in awe of “Flower Power”?



Then this “Beginning Floral Design” class offered by Adrienne Small may be just the ticket for you! Adrienne is a Rarity Bay resident and former elementary science teacher who loves to share her love for flowers. Retirement allowed Adrienne to pursue a Basic Floral Design Certificate and time to create beautiful arrangements for family and friends.



This class will include discussing the universal power of flowers, elements and principles of design, how to prepare flowers with information about “flower food” and an explanation of stem structure. Students will learn about color schemes, ingredients in a floral arrangement, basic tools and floral mechanics. Finally, participants will apply this knowledge to design their own fun, amazing arrangements!



Cost is $10 per person. Participants will also be asked to bring a ”store bought” flower bouquet @ $15-$20 value and 1 or 2 containers (6-8 inch height and 3-4 inch diameter) that will be used in a class activity and to bring home their arrangements. Class will be conducted in a private home in Rarity   Bay. Participants will be notified of the location.



This Learning Lab is for RBWC members only. Space is limited to 8 people.
