We will bike the Chattanooga Riverwalk starting at the Chickamauga Dam and ending at the pedestrian bridge downtown. Roundtrip will be approximately 20 miles but riders can stop at any point to adjust the distance. The fairly level terrain is suitable for both standard and e-bikes. For those who would like to bike further, we will direct you to an additional 9-10 miles from the pedestrian bridge to the end of the Blue Goose Hollow trail. After our ride we will meet for Lunch (on your own) at the Boathouse restaurant at 11:30 AM. If you would prefer to picnic, feel free to pack your lunch. There are several benches and tables available along the route. Restrooms are available at the starting point and other locations on the Riverwalk. Group will leave RBCC parking lot at 7:00 am. Be ready to start ride at the Dam at 9:00 am. Detailed information will be provided to participants prior to departure.



This event is open to RBWC Members, their spouse/partner or one guest. RSVP by April 10th to Linda & Terry Foreman at fredforminski@gmail.com. Lunch Tables will be for 4 people. If you want to sit with specific people, please specify when you RSVP. We will have a waitlist so if your plans change please let us know as early as possible. Rain Date is May 1.



We recommend you bring: Helmet, Water, Mask, Antibacterial Wipes, First Aid Kit, Items Needed for Bike Repair, Gloves, Layer for the weather, wear bright tops for safety.








Directions to Chickamauga Dam: Left on Highway 72, Right on 322, Left on 75 South, Right at Exit 4 toward Chickamauga Dam (153 North), Exit 6 and then Left on Amnicola Highway toward the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga. Turn right into the Chickamauga Dam parking area. If using your GPS, enter Chickamauga Dam. Travel time from Rarity Bay to Dam is approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes.
