DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes when a 911 call is placed? Here is your chance to get a firsthand view of the process in real time! The Loudon County E-911 Call Center is the primary PSAP or Public Safety Answering Point for all of Loudon County, TN. They serve over 40,000 citizens with an annual call volume of over 55,000 calls providing the following services: 911 Call Taking, Police Dispatch, Fire Dispatch, and EMS Dispatch. This event includes a tour of the 911 Call Center, an overview of the call process, and how the center is funded.
