DESCRIPTION:Do you want to stay connected to your children and grandchildren? Facebook is a wonderful way to keep abreast of the daily lives of those you love. See the pictures that they post, share your pictures with them, and send them private messages to let them know that you are thinking about them. You will learn how to do all of this, as well as make sure that your Facebook account is set up privately and securely and that you are seeing what you want to see on Facebook.
You will need to have a device with you to access Facebook. If you access Facebook on both a laptop and a smartphone, you are welcome to bring both with you. You should know how to use your device confidently, as this is not a workshop on how to use your device.
The host, Jennifer Dancu, is a retired teacher/principal who developed her company, Social Media 4 Seniors, when she realized the need for seniors to connect with family and friends via social media. You can learn more from her website www.socialmedia4seniors.net.
