SUMMARY:Introduction to Ballroom Dance
DESCRIPTION:The Rarity Bay Women’s Club is pleased to offer this INTRODUCTION TO BALLROOM DANCE. You will be shown the beginning steps to various dances, such as waltz, foxtrot, east coast swing, rhumba and others as time permits. Dance etiquette, how to interact with your partner, and individual male and female posture positions will be discussed.



It is suggested that you wear comfortable clothing and dress shoes, preferably with leather soles.  Sneakers, flipflops or rubber soles are NOT recommended.



At each session, one or two dances will be introduced to the group, depending on how quickly the group picks up on each selection. The following session will have a brief review of the previous class before a new dance is introduced. This might change if the group would like to work more on one of the dances that they already had. We want to make this as beneficial to everyone as we can, so we want to stay flexible with the presentations.



Sessions will be led by John and Yvonne Gamble.

There are 6 sessions on April 5, 12, 19, 26 and May 3, 10.
