DESCRIPTION:Along with an apple a day, taking vitamins, and daily exercise, engaging in music regularly is one of the healthiest lifestyle habits one can practice. It makes you smarter, it makes you laugh, it makes you more socially involved…it is even said to have romantic advantages.



Ever had the desire to play a musical instrument, either for your own enjoyment or together with others? Well, now’s your chance! Our own Bob Foster, former director of The Rare Notes and who has played the ukulele in several clubs and festivals over the years, is announcing an Introductory Ukulele series of classes, designed to be of interest to men or women, from complete beginners to those with some experience on another instrument, and even to those with some exposure to the ukulele. There will be four sessions, an hour or so each once a week beginning on September 9th.



This course is intended as a low-cost exposure to playing an instrument, so the cost for all four introductory sessions (September 9, 16, 20 and 27) will be $10/person to cover lesson materials. If you already have access to an ukulele, great, plan to bring it along! But as a beginner it is far more likely you will need to borrow, rent, or purchase one. 



Payment is due before  September 9, 2021. Leave check made out to RBWC for $10.00 in the treasure chest on Cathy Filosi’s  front porch.
